Initial bi-annual complete. tested and verified functionality of transfer switch and electrical system.
For this job, I’ve done a preventive maintenance checking all amp draws between the compressor fan motors contactors and capacitors. I also checked the refrigerant charge. This is a R 32 A2 L refrigerant I was getting a 20° superheat with a 7.5 sub cool I was also getting a 16.9 temperature split at this time. This system is running and operating correctly.
Did the annual Pm on the system. Inside unit met all parameters. Blew out drain with nitrogen as a proactive measure. Condensing unit met all parameters as well. Pressure were right on as spec. Noticed the pvc trap was broken so I Fixed by replacing a broken 3/4” 90. Complete, Scott K
Bad capacitor we will come back tomorrow with a 60+5 capacitor
Error with booking Disregard this job-Anthony
For this job I arrived and was informed the mini split system in the art studio was not cooling upon inspection. It was determined the system has a small leak and was low on charge. Talk with the customer about it and customer decided to just go ahead and gas up the system as this has happened in the past and lasted a few years I added 2 pounds of refrigerant and the system is running and operating correctly.
Arrived at clients location check to see if close switch was installed possibly killing power to outdoor unit; no existing switch. No, the new contactor took the cover plate off saw that it was pulled in tested for high voltage at zero to the side breaker panel found a 50 to outdoor unit tripped. When I flipped it back, I heard a noise around the corner. The unit was on. However, when I looked around the corner, I saw smoke coming up from the unit, so I ran and turned the breaker off to the compressor smoking pulled the plate off and found huge burn marks and a hole in compressor
“Noisy Condensing unit” call. The fan grille and motor mount 1/4” screws were old and stripped and not getting tight, allowing rattling. Replaced 8 screws with 5/16 self tapping screws and tightened. Before and after video shows resolution. Complete, Scott
For this job, I arrived and noticed the indoor system was running, but the outdoor system wasn’t upon inspection. It was determined that the outdoor contactor was sticking, and the points were filed out and would need to be replaced. Also, the capacitor had burnt up upon checking the microF It was a 45 x 5 but with my amp meter I was only getting 32.0 so I replaced the capacitor as well tested the system and the system is running and operating correctly at this time and has dropped 2° on the thermostat.

To remove and replace indoor coil and TXV under parts warranty
For this job, I arrived. It was informed that the system was draining water underneath the air handler upon inspection. It was determined that the systems drain line was clogged, and the water was backing up into the drain pan. I blew out the drain line with nitrogen got the system Clear and the drain working properly.
For this job, I was dispatched to a customer saying the system was making a weird sound when shutting off upon inspection it was determined the thermal expansion valve TXV was not closing completely during the shut off that will not cause any issues with the systems overall operation. It will just have a sound as the system’s pressures are equalizing. This customer would like a quote on replacing the TXV that is still under a manufacturer warranty.
For this job done a preventive maintenance on an inside and outside system I started this preventive maintenance in the cooling cycle checking all amp draws refrigerant levels and readings between the compressors contactors and fan motors. Everything tested out correctly so I moved over to the heat cycle testing the heat pump heat strips amp draws, and fan motors. This system was equipped with the HIPAA train filtration system and the filter was extremely dirty so I removed it, took it outside and cleaned it put the system back together cycled everything on and the system is running and operating correctly.
